Laser therapy provides drug-free pain relief, speeds the healing process after an injury, and restarts the healing process for chronic injuries. Laser is at the centre of our office - our certified medical professionals can add it to your treatment plan. Laser Therapy is our “secret weapon” and pain-relief advantage. When you’ve tried everything else, or want to make sure that you are doing everything you can to get and stay healthy, Laser Therapy is an amazing supplement to any treatment plan.
Laser therapy, also known as low-level laser or light therapy (LLLT), is the use of light from a low intensity laser diode or an array of Superluminous Diodes to eliminate pain, accelerate healing and decrease inflammation. LLLT is also known as cold laser, low intensity laser therapy or photobiomodulation.
Laser therapy does not heat or cut tissue, unlike high intensity lasers. Many pharmacological treatments mask pain or only address the symptoms of the disease; laser Therapy treats the underlying condition or pathology to promote healing. This means that the treatments are effective and the benefits of laser therapy are long lasting.
